Space Station Flyover with SpaceX Dragon Endeavour through a Telescope

With Dragon Endeavour docked to the ISS, I thought no time would be greater than now to make my first attempt at imaging the ISS. To know that five people are currently living on this station as it soars overhead and orbits the Earth every 90 minutes is incredible!

How I took the video: After researching when a good pass of the ISS over my house was going to occur I used the finderscope of my Orion XT8i telescope to follow the ISS as a DSLR camera shot 1080p video at 60 FPS. My wife helped by letting me know when I was getting a solid track on the ISS by viewing the DSLR’s screen.

Equipment Used:
Orion XT8i, 2x Barlow, 9×50 Finderscope Canon SL2, 1080p, 60 fps
